Nursery Admissions

Nursery admissions are managed by the school.

If you wish to apply for a nursery place please put your child’s name on the waiting list when s/he is aged two-and-six months, and fill in an application form and return it to the school administration office. If there is a place for your child, we will send you an offer letter and arrange a time for you to visit the nursery or for members of staff to visit you and your child in order to assess them in their home environment.

If there are more applications than places, the following criteria for priority will apply;

  • Children looked after by a local authority
  • Children whose acute medical and social needs justify the allocation of a place in the school – supporting professional evidence is required
  • Children with brothers/sisters at the school at the time of the proposed admission. Brothers/sisters must live at the same address as the child for whom the application is being made. This includes half, step and foster brothers/sisters who live at the same address.
  • Applicants living nearest to the school as measured in a straight line on a map or GIS computerised mapping system.

Further information can be obtained from the school’s administration office.

Note: the above criteria only relate to admissions into Paradigm Trust nursery provision.
