For the next 4 weeks, as part of our manners and etiquette curriculum, we are focussing on kindness, gratitude and appreciation.
Saying thank you and showing kindness is not only ‘the right thing to do’ but it makes the other person feel good and you feel good also. Here are some different ways you can show kindness and gratitude:
- Saying ‘thank you’
- Doing kind things for others
- Giving compliments to others
- Helping others without being asked
- Listening to, caring, respecting and showing understanding towards others.

My Child at School (MCAS) Parent App – Important Notice
We use the MCAS Parent App as our main platform for communication and we have found that it is more user friendly if downloaded on your phone via the App Store.
It has also come to our attention that not everyone is receiving notifications or messages from us. You MUST have the MCAS App downloaded on your phone if you want to receive any INSTANT notifications or messages from school.
In order to sort this issue, please go to your mobile phone settings, go to the notifications section and find MCAS and you then need to make sure ‘allow notifications’ is ticked. If you need help with this, please come to the school office and we will be happy to help.
