December 2nd 2025

Now the winter season is here, please make sure you send your children to school wearing a named, warm coat for play and lunch times outside. Children without a coat will need to stay inside on cold days.

The last three weeks of term will be very busy with lots of lovely activities for our pupils and their parents/carers. Please look at the upcoming dates and events below for all the information needed.

Our Reception parent/carer lunch went well and we look forward to inviting everyone to join their child for lunch over the coming weeks.

Reception School Place Applications 2026/2027

This is a reminder that parents/carers of all children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 must apply for a Reception school place for the 2026/2027 school year by Thursday 15th January 2026.

Pupils will NOT be allocated a school place automatically, even if they already attend our Nursery. You must complete an application form online. If you are unable to complete an online application, please contact the School Office who can provide a paper application form CAF1. Any applications made after the closing date of Thursday 15th January 2026 may not be dealt with until after places have been offered to those who applied on time.

My Child at School (MCAS) Parent App – Important Notice

We use the MCAS Parent App as our main platform for communication and we have found that it is more user friendly if downloaded on your phone via the App Store.

It has also come to our attention that not everyone is receiving notifications or messages from us. You MUST have the MCAS App downloaded on your phone if you want to receive any INSTANT notifications or messages from school. In order to sort this issue, please go to your mobile phone settings, go to the notifications section and find MCAS and you then need to make sure ‘allow notifications’ is ticked. If you need help with this, please come to the school office and we will be happy to help.
